Our Story

Founded in 1994, Royce & Company CSH began by providing service to San Diego’s east county. Early on the staff was made up of owner Royce Sullivan and sons.

Initially, CSH was only providing a pickup & delivery laundry service. Soon at the request of the EVS staff members, the service was expanded. Today CSH's expertise includes: cleaning and maintaining cubicle curtains, draperies, upholstered furniture, canvas/outdoor awnings, bedding/linens, and oversized laundry items. CSH has earned contracts with some of California’s largest healthcare providers with service throughout the state.

CSH has grown by word of mouth recommendation from healthcare professionals for its exemplary service and honesty. This was a refreshing difference in an industry plagued with dishonest charges and less than satisfactory work. CSH’s service specialists stand out from other vendors for their attention to a professional appearance and conduct at each facility.

CSH pioneered a record keeping system for healthcare facilities that documents the various cleanings as they are taking place by department. This documentation is then available upon request by inspection agencies. CSH has come along way from that three person team, but has not forgotten the importance of excellent service, accurate record keeping, and customizing to meet the needs of the client.

Service Department

I started working with my family business back in 1996. My first position I held at 14 was as a curtain folder. After learning the basics I began servicing the hospitals in 1998 as general laborer and spent my time pulling and hanging curtains. Over the next 5 years I worked in hospitals as a Service Specialist throughout southern California and as far north as Chico. In 2003 I was promoted to Service Manager and moved to a leadership role with the responsibility of scheduling all service teams and making sure to exceed customer expectations. Over those early years I had the privilege of working with some of California’s best EVS directors. These years were educational in learning how to best serve the EVS department at a Hospital. I also began to understand the difficult and sometimes underappreciated role the EVS department serves at a facility and how our curtain services can benefit them.

Around 2010 I transitioned into my current role as the first CSH Service Director.  In this position I am working with all aspects of our business, from sales to service and HR to plant maintenance. In 2015 I started CSH’s most ambitious project of designing and building our first CSH Healthcare Laundry. Our plant opened successfully in 2016. I continue to oversee the operations of our Laundry Plant and Service Specialist teams. I have learned from my father and founder, Royce Sullivan, the value of customer service. This remains a foundation of our company. I put my customers first and thank them for the opportunity to serve!

Hobbies: Football.
